PAC MAN
Too bad we don’t have a Ralphie this year for that clash against Bevo at midfield. Texas is my #2 disliked team behind Nebraska. Let’s make it 3-1 against CU’s former Big 12 rivals! Then we got Texas A&M next season in Boulder. Texas fans on Reddit are saying if UT is to come to the PAC, Larry Scott needs to be fired. win2bfree
9-2 Army couldn't find a bowl, but 2-8 South Carolina, 3-7 Miss State, 3-7 Tennessee, 3-7 Arkansas, 4-6 Kentucky and 4-5 Ole Miss did.

Maybe Utah or Washington could step up and play the Cadets? no chance, after Saturday's game Utah players took off for home like they were shot out of a cannon. Which is understandable since they hadn't seen their families since June. I'm sure that's the primary reason so many teams opted out this year. win2bfree
In prototypical ESPN fashion, they write another article putting the blame on the PAC12 while praising the SEC. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/30570455/left-bowl-mix-now-all-army-black-knights-coach-jeff-monken-want-chance-play-memorable-9-2-season

Utterly meaningless? If it isn't for the national championship, playing Texas in the Alamo Bowl is utterly meaningless? I guess we all have out opinions, but this seems so Pac-12. It's why our conference is viewed the way it is, by sports writers, fans, and increasingly, by recruits.
glduck
In the current format I think any non-NY6/CFP bowl is meaningless. Had we lost Friday I would want to end the season, too. Just not worth it this year.
duckfandan
I'm sorry, but what a whiny bitch. We're in the middle of a pandemic with thousands dying daily. Yes, it would be great for Army to play, if they want to play. But any 'norms' went out the window for this season long ago. But we'll stick with a random norm because it's a good story. Nice work, ESPN.

CRBuff
We played a “season”, and did it for the money. And when bowl season rolled around we said what about the kids! It IS why the pac is looked at as lesser. They are not wrong.
PAC MAN
Shame on those schools that opted out instead of playing Army. Very good reason for the feds to pull federal funding from those schools and those schools deserve to lose federal funding because of their stupid bias against the nation's military branches. Army is going to play WVU in the Liberty it appears.

Army is going to play WVU in the Liberty it appears. They didn't pull out because it was Army as the opponent, that is some made up nonsense trying to connect a stupid political point. UCLA, and a few others, puled out because everyone is getting COVID and they want to go home after being away from family for 6 months, as opposed to playing in a bowl game that means nothing to anyone other than programs who are fighting for a big 6 (Oregon) and teams that might not see another bowl game for another decade (Colorado). Sorry that you care more about seeing kids play in a meaningless football game than you do about the mental and physical well being of kids and COVID.
