This term is crazy.  We are more likely than not to see them:

1. Overturn Roe.

2. Outlaw any kind of licensure for guns.

3. Put a person to death, their Catholicism be damned, all the while doubling down on police power.

 

They've already let people put bounties on women who don't want to be declared, under the law, sentient uteri.  But that's just an adorable warm-up.

 

This is what happens when Mitch McConnell gets his way.  Americans, by double-digit numbers, are against ANY of the above being declared law.  But here we are.  A bunch of judges who answer for about 35% of the country will continue to delay our rights, thanks to the electoral college, the senate, and other 18th century atrocities.  Yay.

More importantly, we’ve learned that when you let shitbird, treasonous, bigot republicans appoint two-thirds of the Supreme Court, the justices will have no fucking clue what “standing” means, or they’ll cruise right past that threshold legal principle to enshrine discrimination.

The SCOTUS decision provided a roadmap for Harvard to admit the same number or more Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans without AA.  43% of whites admitted to Harvard are granted admission based on relatives who are Harvard Alumni, donations made to Harvard, familial relationships with faculty, staff and other Harvard employees or athletic ability.  Instead of using these criteria for admissions, carve out admissions based upon economic or other hardships overcome or other non- racial factors.  Such factors may include suffering from racial or other discrimination.  It’s not hard, but you do have to think (and discard your affinity for rich, white elitist liberals).  Just be ready for all out war because rich, white supremacist, elitist liberals will not easily give up what they believe to be rightfully and morally theirs.
