Most important Pac-12 Tournament we have ever seen. Arguably there was little to distinguish between Arizona, Oregon, and UCLA during the regular conference season. The conference tournament will settle the argument as to who the best Pac-12 team is - and give the winner a ton of momentum heading into the NCAA Tournament.

i'll take the 18 game, two month grind that is the regular season to show who the best team is, thank you very much.

I'm with you, except for when teams have identical records during the conference season.

Hopefully the move to the larger arena doesn't ruin the tournament environment, it has been a much better event ever since it moved from LA and would hate to see it suffer from an additional 5k empty seats or so.

For the three at the top still a lot to play for with seeding and which region they'll be placed in which is different from most recent years where you pretty much that you would be out West.  Assuming no major upsets on Thursday then I expect we would see the following results determine their seeding.

Tournament champion 2 seed in the West (1 seed if Gonzaga falls)

Runner-up a 2 maybe 3 seed in the Midwest (depending on UK and Baylor tournament results)

Loser of UCLA-Arizona a 3 seed in the South

USC (as long as they win on Wednesday) if I had to guess I would say 10 seed.

Cal/Utah would likely need to reach the tournament finals just to get a spot in one of the play in games and everyone else would have to win the tournament to get in via the auto bid.
