One of the impacts of both the FBI thing and the China "incident" that little has been talked about is whether those distractions on coaches and teams will negatively influence play. It could mess with the laser focus that teams need when they go out on the court. Basketball is such a game of teamwork and emotion you have to wonder. We've seen Pac-12 teams with sensational players (I'll let you come up with your own list) that have been total busts because they weren't playing as a unit, there were behind-the-scenes player issues, or the coaches were having their own conflict.
