This is from Bill Gates in 2015. We weren’t ready for a pandemic then either and Trump wasn’t president.  This is not news.

#BothSidesBullshit

The brain-drain from federal agencies is real, and novel, under Trump, and you know it.

For you to say this shit is for you to say "leadership doesn't matter."  And yet you know it does.  Go vote for your klansman with a clear conscious tho.

Italy is suspending mortgage payments during the lockdown.

This would be something nice we could do for homeowners and renters in the U.S.  Unfortunately, our country's worship of the banking class won't allow it.  Socialism for the rich is real.

Sweet -- it's Don spreading false equivalencies during an election year -- it's just like old times!

Funny how that happens. I am sure he will now tell us how he supported Bernie, and didn't vote for nor supports Trump.

This is why I find it hard to believe that the "moderate" Republicans will do anything other than vote for Trump again, and why perusing them or making any concessions based on getting their votes is a pointless endeavor.

PRECISELY WHY I SUPPORT BERNIE AND THINK HE'S OUR BEST CHOICE.

We need to stop vying for that moderate vote.  Fuck those people.  Fuck them right in their tight fucking asses.

If you define Don as a moderate republican, I fully agree.

but I think his actions show that he’s not.

Don's a far-right evangelical.  There's no getting through that blood-brain barrier so long as they think abortion is a black-and-white morality issue where they're the heroic saviors, rescuing embryos that resemble geckos.

@KUGRDON and his insanely stupid ilk would rather trash the environment, bomb all of Iraq's children, give Jaime Dimon and Jeff Bezos landed gentry status, and even tax himself into oblivion than make any concessions on abortion.

The problem with this is if moderate Democrats are scared off or stay home because of the socialist thing. Bernie needs to stop saying complimentary things about Castro and other communists, really should refrain from ever mentioning them at all.

I am voting for whomever gets the Democratic nomination. I am not fearful that Bernie will take programs too far, because frankly, I doubt he will be able to push more than one or two things through. My fear right now is the Democratic circular firing squad, with the moderates not willing to support Bernie because Communism, and the Bernie bros not supporting Biden because hes not woke.

Everyone needs to realize that the alternative is Trump. It is like being forced to either eat a food you hate or rat poison. You wouldn't say " It doesn't matter, I won't be happy either way", you put on your big boy pants and force the food down, because you know what the alternative is.

People on the fringes always try to cast themselves as centrists to further legitimize and mainstream their positions.  That being said, I don’t think Don is on the fringes but the point still stands as he is more conservative then he lets on.  I am the only true centrist on this board I believe.

That is why I put moderate in quotes.  For many on that side, moderates are the ones that don't say the stuff driving the policy out loud in mixed company, even though they implicitly support and embolden those who do.

Don is not on the fringes in the sense that the insanity he supports is in the White House.   But I think he is on the fringes of the political spectrum
