And for anyone who still can't wrap their pea brain about why testing and contact tracing are critical to gaining enough info that we can successfully reopen,

Go take a hike of the edge of your flat earth. Please

The small fingered vulgarian  and the sad turtle don't want to provide financial support to states which in their opinion are poorly run.

But they can't hand out bailouts fast enough to large companies run poorly and now in need of help.

I would be worried if I was liked by you or some of the other imbeciles on this board.

This is like the 37th time you’ve talked about who likes who on the board. You must be so insecure for that to be important to you.

Me addressing "who likes who" is not nearly as pathetic as a bitter boomer calling almost everyone else on the board "the other imbeciles" simply because they're more informed than him.

Just because we don't all casually ignore science and social justice like you and your real-life old, white, male peer group doesn't mean we're imbeciles.  Matter of fact, it means we're the only exposure to critical thinking you get all day.  You're welcome.

You still aren't talking about our testing issue.  That should be first and foremost among EVERYONE'S comments on this crisis, because the testing denial is ongoing.

And it's your party fucking that up.

I can say with 100% certainty I'm not looking forward to being tested.  My sister in law is a Dr at a local prison, and she says it's pretty painful if done right. And the reason we are seeing false results, is that people aren't administering the test right.  You have to go about 4-5 inches up the nose for 15 seconds.

If you scroll down, you'll see a diagram of how far they have to swab.

Don't worry, you'll probably never have access to one because our federal government is incompetent: https://www.npr.org/2020/05/12/853930147/despite-early-warnings-u-s-took-months-to-expand-swab-production-for-covid-19-te

We need 2-5 million tests per day, minimum, to confidently open up: https://ethics.harvard.edu/files/center-for-ethics/files/roadmaptopandemicresilience_updated_4.20.20_1.pdf

Right now, we're at about 290k.  It's a joke.

I'd prefer an antibody test that comes back positive.  Getting a free hall pass from all this is my dream.

At this rate, I agree antibodies are our best hope.  I don't see a magical vaccine being created soon.  It would be a miracle, and the quickest humans have ever developed such a vaccine.

I mean, our best hope is still testing.

And lots of it.  Unfortunately.

I mean realistic.  I wish we could test.  And studies show if we could have tested earlier, it would have been much more effective.  Not that it won't help now, but we are also already behind the perverble 8 ball.  Anything we do at this point isn't going to be enough, to make a quick solution.

We don't need to wish.  We could tell our dipshit representatives to pressure Trump to fucking do something about the testing.

Instead, we have maga chuds throwing tantums about haircuts.  Americans are such idiotic fucking pussies.  They didn't have this problem in S. Korea.
