PAC-12 Football Week 5

Looking at the AZ Desert Swarm page, it mentioned that UA’s OL isn’t that good.  The Buffs took care of a subpar Aztecs OL on the way to a 20-10 win (SDSU’s TD was a pick six while the offense only could muster a FG on its own).

No one should mistake the Buffs to be world beaters since the schedule has been friendly since USC was cancelled.  But the Buffs are playing good football this season so far which is remarkable given a late coaching change.

I was thinking along the same lines.  They could have made it Colorado@USC, UW@WSU (Wazzu only has one loss and a Win over UW would matter for the race more than any Stanford/UW result plus it is the Apple Cup), and Stanford@UA (since Stanford is on the road and UA is at home).  The only hold up would be switching the game time since WSU/USC was a Friday game, but since they are doing that anyway. why not?

If the USC-Wazzu game gets played on Sunday, it will be interesting to watch the Trojan OL, which was apparently the target of the Covid virus and quarantine.

A thin group even before, now we may have non-starters starting -- without a normal amount of practice.

Potentially

Broussard ran for 301 yards for the Buffs in Tucson and no TDs...ever see a RB run for 300+ without scoring a TD?  That might be a first.

If he was only a little faster!  Had a few chances.

buffs were really sloppy, good to get the win. Maybe a little lucky.

4 games in and no idea how good they really are.

I hope Chance Lytle is okay.  Never fun seeing someone carted off especially when CU's trainers were calling for the cart the moment they saw where the injury was at.
