I'll bet you a ham sandwich @HLB doesn't even know what city the Ducks call home.

Wow!  A whole ham sandwich.  Don't go out on a limb too far, Big Spender.

The Ducks and the Beavers are from the same racist state.  The Ducks are from Choke-ville (aka Eugene, Oregon), while Oregon State is from Loser-ville (aka Corvallis, Oregon).

Wow.  So everyone is supposed to think that the 20,000 tickets that are sold through the Ohio State University are the only tickets that are available to Ohio State fans?  Perhaps Ohio State fans have bought tickets through ticket brokers, and/or purchased some of Utah's allotted 20,000 tickets.

Ohio State fans travel well.  Perhaps better than any other university in the country.  I would be stunned if they don't show up strong.

That being said, the Buckeyes football team will be there (barring a COVID outbreak)- and that's all that matters for them to get the win.  Which they will.

We will let you slide. At least you know how many teams are in the "Pac 10" and which bowl ties we have..

Bowl ties in the PAC12 .... Outside of the Rose Bowl, does anyone really care?

All of other PAC12 bowl affiliations can just as well be called The Always Bowl, The Tena Intimae Bowl, the Vagisil Bowl, The Neueve Bowl, The Kotex Bowl, and the Summer's Eve Bowl.

I just purchased our tix. There should be a donation slip with these tickets. I bent over big time. $410 each ticket and $47 in fees. I feel hollow.

Utah will represent big time. Seeing charter planes and busses are being advertised.

31 yard line and 50 rows back. That puts me about 100 yards away from the action. It’s the worst stadium (for watching games) in the country. Hoping Rose Bowl eventually moves to new stadium.

I hope you have a great time!  Enjoy!

Mark Harlan (AD) was on the radio today and said there will be over 60,000 Utah fans attending the Rose Bowl. This is what happened when we went to the Fiesta Bowl. This will be Rice Eccles South.  It will be extremely loud and one sided for Utah as it appears Ohio State isn’t as excited to be playing in this game. NC or bust is their mantra. How would it be?  Utah is playing everyone and it sounds like some of OSU’s starters won’t be playing to not risk injury. OSU may get their ass whooped.

Utah’s big goal in becoming part of this conference was to win the Rose Bowl.

There have been "no" OSU players to opt out of the Rose Bowl, as of 12-24-2021.

It’s 2021, sport. Aside from the CFP, the Rose Bowl is *the* only bowl game that matters. Literally everything else is an inconsequential scrimmage.

So, you admit that all of the other PAC12 bowl games are garbage.

As for the Rose Bowl, it's the only game that matters to you (and other PAC12 fans).

You're right - it is 2021.  And you fail to understand is that the Rose Bowl, in 2021 - known throughout history as the "Grandaddy of Them All" - is no longer revered by anyone, outside the PAC12 footprint.

> It no longer has national appeal

> It matters to the PAC12. but not so much to the B1G teams who miss making the playoffs.

> And to most across the country, it's just another meaningless bowl game that doesn't matter.

Sorry to have to break that news to you.

It’s like you’re in a competition with yourself to say the dumbest thing possible, but because you make things up on a whim so regularly you can’t remember which dumb thing you’re contradicting yourself on.

you had to be a member of Utah’s Crimson club in order to purchase Rose Bowl tickets from Utah and they did it in tiers over a couple of weeks based on your donation level. Ohio St fans couldn’t purchase tickets from Utah’s allotment. Many Ute fans got frustrated so they purchased their tickets from Ohio St because it was easier and quicker.

Ute fans recognize this might be a once in a lifetime event

Utah's trajectory is up. This is not going to be a once in a lifetime event.  The money-schools (USC and Oregon) are going to be unhappy, because the Utes have their act ongoing together more than they do.

Utah's trajectory is up, but its razor close, if not at its ceiling. USC, Oregon and UW have the ability to land top 10 recruiting classes, Utah does not. That needs to happen be the next step in a programs progression. Utah doesn't have the $$$, history or culture to compete nationally with schools who can recruit top 10 classes.

Maybe saying this is a once in a lifetime is extreme, maybe its more like once every 20 years.
