Teams ranked between 10-20 before the tourney have won plenty of college national championships in basketball. NC State, Villanova, Kansas in 88, Arizona in 97, etc. Butler made it to the title game twice, George Mason made the final four as an 11 seed (outside of the top 25 nationally). Remember Loyola Chicago? Oregon State was on the bubble last year and made the Elite 8. You clearly have no understanding of college basketball, or of playoffs in general.
