glduck
Oregon lost the 2021 Pac-12 POTY and all three weekend starters so I was expecting a return back to mediocrity, and while the non-conference performance looked to be heading in that direction, we took 2/3 @ #2 Stanford over the weekend so I’m now not sure what to think. Likely won’t be hosting a Regional again but it would be nice to get back to the postseason.

glduck
Swept Utah to move to 5-1 in the Pac-12, then took a game in Spokane against a top 20 Gonzaga team. This team is fun, at least. It’s an almost complete 180 from the Horton years. We can mash, but there’s no starting pitching in sight. Every game is a bullpen day. Doesn’t seem sustainable, but as long as they keep hitting they should be fun to watch.

When it comes to fun, there's nothing like blowing an 11-0 lead to Nevada and then eking out a 14-13 win in 11 innings. Holy shit, what was that. MrBug708
UCLA swept Oregon in both baseball and softball this weekend.
glduck
Disappointed that the baseball’s clutch gene didn’t make the trip. Three close games, opportunities late in all three, couldn’t come up with the hit. Our softball team has been irrelevant since we lost our coach to Texas. And he’s done nothing at Texas. An unfortunate parting of ways.
glduck
Happy Opening Day to everyone but the Twins, who thought an outdoor stadium in Minnesota built in 2009 wouldn’t require a retractable roof.
KUGRDON
WSU, in 17th place in the PAC 12 with a conference record of like 2-27, has just taken the second two in a row from Arizona. Go for the sweep tomorrow.

glduck
Was pulling Kershaw one of those “probably the right thing to do, but man that sucks” scenarios?
Orange
Kershaw is clutch as long as it's not the playoffs.
