All Hail
Let's get right to it, the last time the Bruins won in Berkeley, I was a freshmen in highschool (1998.) That's a pretty crazy stat for a school that has never had a consistently decent football team, let alone a consistently good one. Unfortunately, the Cal defense is next-level awful and the more I think about this game, the more I realize that Cal is going to need another 50 point performance from the Goffense to have a chance. Cal has now lost their top 2 -- and only decent -- pass rushers to injury after Scarlett went down last weekend. It's gotten so bad that Dykes pointed to true freshmen Noah Westerfield as the guy who will be relied upon to get pressure on BH. Seriously, we are relying on a true freshman with 0 sacks. Cal's offensive line has still only faced one respectable -- and boy are they respectable -- defensive front all season so despite UCLA's poor defensive performance thus far, the opportunity for athletic DE's to put heat on the passer is definitely there. And with UCLA's athletic secondary, all it takes is a couple of QB hurries to force a possible pick-six. Man, I am just not optimistic about this game at all. The only thing that gives me hope is the weird streak at home against the Bruins. Fortunately for me, I scored some seats in the Stadium Club so I will be nowhere near sober by the end of the 1st quarter. For those unfamiliar, it basically means I get all I can drink top-shelf booze/wine/beer and all I can eat. There's even a sushi chef who just spends the entire game making sushi. Bug, if you're coming up for the game, I might be able to swing an extra ticket if you're interested. Davis, I would invite you but I'm just not sure unlimited free Kettle One is a good idea for you or your loved ones.
Scscsc89
What's the line? The Bruins definitely have the advantage, but stranger things have happened. Go Bears!

UCLA's favored by 7.5, which seems like a great spread if I wanted to bet UCLA.
Scscsc89
Agreed -- if the Bruins are going to win, they're going to win comfortably.
utenation
I have picked UCLA to win their last two games and they lost, maybe I should pick Cal this time..
MrBug708
I want to say that UCLA wins, but it could be the "Charlie Brown football being pulled away" thing that ends up ruining it for me. I could see UCLA beat Cal pretty handily and having a squeaker vs the Buffs.

MrBug708
Myles Jack needs to play RB full time. Even Rogue might lay on the hyperbole
MrBug708
Nice to see some creativity on the play calling. Had we seen some slants and swing passes in the previous two games, we might not have been 0-

All Hail
How did the refs miss that PI call!? Happened on our side, tackled the Wr before the ball came. Unbelievably bad call.

Feet got tangled so not a PI. Though Papag says I don't know the rules so I and the refs could be wrong.
