KUGRDON
Ridiculous: https://www.si.com/college-football/2017/10/01/top-10-teams-rankings-alabama-clemson-georgia 8. Washington State: Taking down Sam Darnold and USC on national TV was a strong statement by a team that notched its biggest win in years. Luke Falk thew himself back into the Heisman picture while DL Hercules Mata’afa (10 TFLs) is the most underrated defensive player on the West Coast.9. Washington: A soft schedule hasn’t really tested U-Dub much. It blasted Oregon State on the road, 42–7, blowing the game open with a 21-point third quarter. Things likely won’t get much rougher till it gets into November.

utenation
Congrats Don on a fantastic start to the season and nice win over USC. Utah has a tough out against Stanford this week. Then USC on the road. We will know if Utah is for real soon enough.

Utah I figured 11 or 12 and that is still generous. Just didn’t do well enough in nonconference to get high enough to move into the top 10. OT with Boise State was a big negative. Scscsc89
Beat Oregon on the road & move into the top 10 -- seems fair.
KUGRDON
Yup, though I’m picking Oregon. More on that later, but likely one week wonder.

KUGRDON
Nah, ESPN has Oregon with a 67% chance of winning, that’s higher than USCs chances of winning before the game. A small D is still a small D notwithstanding a stupid game plan by USC.
glduck
clearly you pick against the cougs each week and it's been working so you're gonna run with it (i do this too) but we have no quarterback. cougs are going to win comfortably.
Scscsc89
So much for Don's vow that his enthusiasm wasn't meant to denigrate USC. It lasted all of 4 hours.
