glduck
washington is just solid up and down, oregon seems like each snap could be a momentum swinging explosion play or a back breaking turnover.

row Z
UW offense sucks: part Browning, part play calling (need to run more), part o line. Defense is solid. feels like Oregon has seized control for good. I think ducks run game will take over in the fourth.
row Z
My impressions of Oregon: 1) o-line is very good; 2) front 7 is very good; 3) Dillon Mitchell better than i was expecting; 4) RBs seem like they could break one on any carry.
glduck
I don’t like this field goal attempt.
glduck
not one bit. as I’ve said any attempt beyond the 20 yard line is unwarranted confidence in these kickers.
Utefan1211
Ducks have had their opportunities.
row Z
UW is fucked now without Jaylen Johnson.
dtd
Another choke job from Oregon. They just can finish against the big boys.
glduck
maybe not, but stanford and washington have taken us behind the shed the last two years by a collective score of 674-7 (don’t fact check me). i’m content with progress in year one. Scscsc89
So why doesn’t UW decline that third-down holding penalty in OT? it didn’t look like Oregon had made the first down

dtd
Hard to believe a team could choke harder than Oregon. UW needs to fire their OC.
glduck
we didn’t, but I think coach pete liked his odds of 3rd and long over 4th and 1.
glduck
i’m far more surprised that petersen was so willing to rely on his kicker to win the game at regulation. they had at least 1 TO left (maybe 2? just 1? eh, whatever) and 30 seconds to play with to get closer and/or break one. No way — unless you have major kicker problems

I thought it was the right decision. We weren’t stopping 4th and 1, especially with Johnson out. i think the biggest mistake was for UW not to use its timeouts at end of regulation to run 3 more plays to get closer. 37 yard field goal was always iffy. Offense was moving with McGrew a little bit. Maybe one throw to the TE. Oh well. Congrats ducks. I think this game might mark a new chapter in the rivalry (competitive games)? Should have tried that tall receiver in the end zone.
