When I was a kid (18-20), we could gather a gaggle of 10 friends and drive up to Portland for Pearl Jam or Weezer or Smashing Pumpkins relatively cheaply. Under $1k, all in with us sharing a hotel room. Now, $1k might be 1 ticket. Pearl Jam was way ahead of their time in fighting ticketmaster.
