Even poor people he likes to tax. He’s the perfect Democrat candidate.

PapaG
Elizabeth Warren Would Rather Make You Fix Your Terrible Public School Than Let You Send Your Kid to a Charter School How she expects parents to do this—particularly the poorer ones she says she wants to help—remains unclear. In recent years, the Democratic presidential candidate has doubled down against charter schools. She adopted the stance in 2016, when (in her words) "a handful of bazillionaires" attempted to lift the cap on charters in Massachusetts. But Warren found herself in hot water last month, just a week after her NEA interview was released, when she was caught speaking misleadingly to a group of black protesters from the Powerful Parent Network, an organization that supports school choice. "My children went to public schools," she said, pushing back against accusations that she doesn't practice what she preaches. But her children didn't only go to public schools: As Reason Foundation's Corey DeAngelis discovered, she sent her son, Alex, to a private school from fifth grade onward. Scscsc89
Congratulations — this is the least-biased source I remember you quoting, even if it’s still biased. ”Reason” I’m also concerned that you’ve stopped attributing the sources of the material you quote, as if that will help with its credibility. Scscsc89
As for the policy, I agree that if you have a million dollar budget for education in an area, it’s better to put it all into fixing the school that already exists than giving up on that one to open a redundant new school that will only serve a fraction of the students you need to serve. Sounds like what conservatives in my youth used to call “smart, efficient government”.
PAC MAN
And with charter schools, the question is where is the money coming from? You can spend millions to fix up those schools but when you keep prayer out of schools in addition to downplaying the pledge of allegiance to the US flag, there's no hope in fixing schools. I stood for the flag every morning growing up at school and now I keep hearing schools aren't the same as they used to be.
Scscsc89
My kid’s elementary school does an amazing job with their anti-bullying programs & integrating “big/little buddy” programs within grades to foster interaction and respect — the results are quite impressive. They do the pledge once a week, on Wednesdays. Perhaps some teachers do it more. I wouldn’t believe everything you hear — but you could volunteer @ your local schools if you want to check it out for yourself and help out at the same time. So, she did send them to only private schools? If she had, I'm sure that pathetic rag would have jumped all over it, right?

PAC MAN
https://www.foxnews.com/media/varney-uk-election-boris-johnson-victory-crushing-socialists The Brits rejected socialism in a big way. As long as the Deep State Party continues to try moving towards socialism, they will get rejected next November. I have said the whole time with this upcoming election is that the Deep State Party needs to have an electable moderate if they hope to get rid of Trump. Sadly, I do not see that moderate candidate that is electable coming out of the Deep State Party and that is why Bloomberg is running for office. The Deep State Party needs to retreat towards the middle from this point forward.

The Brexit election results and its aftereffects should be good for the country as long as the DSP retreats closer to the center.

They have nationally funded healthcare and pensions, and will continue to have that, even with a conservative party. Hell, the conservatives RAN ON continuing to keep the NHS funded.
