He thinks he's 6'3" 250 and runs like a linebacker, at least in his head.. Reality is, he's 5'10" 190 and runs like a QB that can't pass.. Heaps is not playing well and his timing with his WR's is off. That's what happens as a freshman that doesn't practice with his receivers in the off season and doesn't take all the 1st team reps in camp.. Nelson is garbage, he wouldn't even beat out USU's QB if he were still there.. Bronco made a huge mistake playing the 2 headed QB game and honoring his commitment to Nelson to play.. Heaps has a good arm and needs to dial it in.. It would help if his WR's could catch the ball too. Heaps needs to roll the pocket and have better awareness of the field.. He's guessing on a lot of balls. It will come, but it will be a long year for the kid. Nelson is as good as he's going to be which is horrible.. Dude should be playing RB or safety..
