Pac-12 teams are involved in some great early season basketball tournaments and neutral court events.  This is the best line-up in memory for Pac-12 intersectional games, special events, and tournaments.  We'll have a chance to make a national statement ... or not.  Here are some of the key contests that will gain national attention and NCAA tourney selection interest.

Victories that if they happened, (sunshine and Kool-Aid here) would change the impression of the Pac-12 being a conference that has lost it's mojo:

  • UCLA over North Carolina at T-Mobile
  • Oregon taking the Battle of Atlantis in three games in the Bahamas (likely need to beat Seton Hall, Gonzaga, and either UNC or Michigan)
  • Washington over Baylor in Anchorage
  • Colorado over Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse
  • Arizona State taking the Air Force Tipoff in Connecticut (Mohegan Sun) over St. Johns and Virginia
  • UCLA taking the Maui Invitational, likely facing Kansas and Michigan State
  • Utah over Kentucky at T-Mobile Arena
  • Arizona over Gonzaga, home game at McHale

If somehow Pac-12 teams could win a fair share of these contests, the image of our league would be vastly improved.
