  1. I think if the B12 had it to do over again, they would have scratched the UCF, Cincy adds. Maybe BYU and Houston as well. There’s some good markets and recruiting in those 4. But all 4 will struggle for years to get up to snuff in P5 football. Basketball they’re mostly ok. And replaced them with OSU and WSU and the 4 corners. All are pretty much turn key operations. IF they had a clue that the P12 would fall apart before they picked up the 3 stooges from the AAC and BYU. I don’t think Cal and Stanford say yes to the B12. All just theory of course.
  2. UCLA and USC makes sense in many ways financially. After that, there’s a whole lot of head scratchers when it came to the destruction of the P12. A lot of shit that makes no sense. Including ESPN offering B12 bribes in the hopes that they don’t have to feed another entire conference mouth. I think a lot of high level people wanted the conference to go away. The 4 corners are a package deal geographically. As a Western type pod with BYU. My opinion was purely based on football product. I think there were a whole lot of politics going on this round more so than just “market location”. WSU and OSU got fucked over. Period. OSU has pretty solid TV ratings this year.
  3. I’m looking good for our hat bet btw. Although, your game against WSU looks 50/50 to me. WSU at home is the only advantage.
  4. Sorry. I thought you meant a lot better than OSU and WSU. WSU appears to be listless right now, so I wouldn’t fight that one too hard.
  5. It’s only my opinion but I’ve been a fan of OSU and what they’ve built for a long time. Big fan of Smith. If CU remained consistent this year, I would be fair about it. But the results just aren’t there.
  6. Yeah, I’m not in charge but it’s not too hard to see OSU is a better football program than CU top to bottom. Football drives the bus. Smith is proven and built the right way. My story remains consistent. CU was a nice dog and pony show for 1/4 of a season. Increase in fans. Nice. But they’re there for a coach, not the football program. An unproven coach and the increased interest only lasts as long as he wins or it’s something new. 1-8 in conference won’t cut the mustard in any conference. I realize you disagree with your CU goggles but the OSU stats and facts remain. The B12 will be in a fight for their life once the final shoe drops in realignment and the conference needs as many strong football programs as possible.
  7. I said it in the summer. I would have rather had OSU than CU to the B12. OSU football is in pretty good hands today. OSU’s budget and recruiting is about to take a serious hit.
  8. aTm has money but damn, that's a big buyout. That's what happens when you think you can keep up with the Bamas and UGAs in the SEC.. Johnny Manizel gave that fanbase hope. Maybe Sanders takes the aTm gig? 😁
  9. What are your thoughts on Jimbo Fisher? 128-48. National title. 4-2 in NY6 Bowls.
  10. Here are the tie breakers: Multiple-Team Ties In the event of a tie between more than two teams, the following procedures will be used. After one team has an advantage and is “seeded”, all remaining teams in the multiple-team tie-breaker will repeat the multiple-team tie-breaking procedure. If at any point the multiple-team tie is reduced to two teams, the two-team tie-breaking procedure will be applied. Head-to-head (best cumulative win percentage in games among the tied teams). If not every tied team has played each other, go to step 2. Win percentage against all common conference opponents (must be common among all teams involved in the tie) Record against the next highest placed common opponent in the standings (based on record in all games played within the conference), proceeding through the standings.
  11. Makes sense. In my scenario, Utah beats AZ. And as I mentioned, I didn't know what the tie breaker is if both AZ and Oregon have 2 losses.
  12. That's terrible. I'll tell you, I'm not looking forward to paying for ESPN + next year in the B12. The P12 network is sweet for what it is. And I don't pay extra with my sport's pack.
  13. If OSU wins out, they wouldn't need Oregon to lose to ASU. Because OSU would have the head to head over Oregon.
  14. LOL. that is funny. I bet NBC wishes this was in South Bend. I can hear all the Domer fans now.. Wondering what the P12 network is and throwing a fit.
  15. I'm saying to get the second spot to get to the championship game for Oregon State. In my scenario, UW would have 1 loss. Right now AZ has the head to head with you with 2 losses. If Oregon wins out, they are in. And I don't see WSU beating UW. AZ would need Oregon to lose 1 or two games. If both Oregon and AZ have 2 losses, I don't know what the next tie breaker is. Utah and SC are out with 3 losses. 85% chance it's UW/Oregon is my guess.
  16. UW trailing Nevada in Seattle in the first half. Nevada was a tourney team last year.
  17. @Orange, I said UW -3. It’s -1. Should be the game of the week. Win this and beat Oregon(easier said than done) and you’re looking good for the title game. But you also need your buddies Utah to beat AZ this week.
  18. Jalapeño, are you alive? Or did you burn your CU gear 5 weeks ago and become a duck fan? I’m still trying to figure out how Dan was wrong. Someone “made it personal” if I remember correctly.
  19. Oregon fans. Who do you have in the bull pen next year for QB?
  20. I hope not. But I think they can get 6 wins. Dillingham seems like a bright, young HC. And his kids are all in.
  21. I think ASU can be competitive in the B12 next year and go bowling. I haven’t seen anything in the current B12 that tells me they can’t.
  22. What a terrible call on the unsportsmanlike penalty. They need to fix that rule.
  23. USC night want to cover Franklin lol.
  24. Williams brought his magic shoes. Still so dangerous when he goes into Johnny Unitas mode.
