  1. Wow. What a run by Oregon. Slow start this year, injuries, average at best Net Rankings, really no shot at an at large and they pull this tourney out of their hat. The announcers said it best, when Dante is healthy, he’s unstoppable. Unbelievable game. 12/12 on FGs. Never, never count out Dana Altman. CU deserves to go Dancing. .
  2. Is anyone else grossed out by these Jesus washed feet commercials? Yuck. I get the message but I don’t need to see men washing other men’s dirty feet. Give me a break.
  3. I’m interested to see how Gabriel does. You guys have figured out how to plug and play these guys very well.
  4. Man oh man, how I would love to have Dante on our team. Smooth as silk footwork, power and a good defender.
  5. @Chile_Ute, if we dump Smith( not likely for a few years) a guy I have an eye on is Pinto Jr from New Mexico. He stunk it up at Minnesota but has New Mexico positioned well. Progress the last 3 years. He’s only 41 too. Maybe Minn wasn’t a good fit? Let’s see how the Lobos do in the dance though. Before I get carried away. Lol.
  6. Well, I was 2 points off my 8 point win prediction. Joking aside, I think WSU gets a well deserved seed. Good year. Jones and Rice are phenomenal players.
  7. The fact that the talking heads had CU as a last 4 in bubble team is disrespectful to say the least. This is a good team. The P12 is bad but CU is not. They peaked at the right time. SOS non con is not hot but we’re past that at this point.
  8. Jeebus. Watching the end of NC State/UVA. NC. Has another well fed gentleman that is going tank mode in the paint. Burns. What a beast.
  9. lol, @Chile_UteRE: Lampkin. Point taken my friend. WSU bodying up on this guy. Getting physical. He might score 10 points tonight but he will not look like Oliver Miller on the 92 Dream Team like he did against UTAH.
  10. Which one are you? Roy?
  11. Meh. The B10 Network with elite coverage and distribution only pays about $10 mill per team. Another $6-7 mill per year wouldn’t have kept USC and UCLA in house. The Pac finished with 6 ranked teams in 2022 in football. Lack of exposure didn’t play into that one bit.
  12. Dude. Wow. Impressive win. Didn’t see that coming. Oregon could be dancing. I’ve always said never count out Dana.
  13. But they beat Oregon and USC on the road. Oregon looks like the best team in the league right now. USC WAS very hot to end the season. LOL as using UCLA in your mix. UCLA is pretty much hot garbage this year.
  14. Reports? News? transfers? Progress? Utah news: Cam Rising is finally back and looks smooth. Same as Kuithe. USC transfer Singer leading the WR room. I think Utah and KW are slobbering to get the season started with a legit playoff run. Utah is projected top 15 in all major publications. I’ve seen Oregon, Washington and Arizona ranked high as well.
  15. CU by 8 tonight. They’ve won 7 in a row. Red hot.
  16. Btw, only 1 game of the P12 tourney has been on FS1. Utah/CU. 1 more tonight. CU/WSU. How is Oregon/AZ on the P12 network? Either FOX and ESPN think this is a shitty conference or it’s the final irrelevant gesture of a pathetic network and business plan.
  17. No offense but this seems like you haven't watched many Utah games, especially the first half of the season. Your take seems like a 15K foot view looking at box scores or reading a recruiting ranking website. Utah most certainly didn't live up to their talent. Most Utah fans I know agree Worster was a key loss. I'm not saying Utah should have won the conference but we shouldn't be losing to the ASUs, Stanfords, and Oregon States. Oregon isn't a good team either. Utah spent much of the first half of the season in the Mid 30's in Net Rankings and Ken Pom. Even got into the 20's at one point. They did this by beating teams like BYU, Wake Forest(neutral), St Mary's(road) and playing Houston and St John's very tough. So what changed? Now suddenly we can't beat terrible teams in the P12 because of lack of talent? There are fundamental flaws within the program and injuries are the answer. Our defensive numbers were flat out atrocious and got worse as the season went along. That's coaching and effort. Smith doesn't demand defense. Honestly, much of the P12 had terrible defensive numbers nationally. The P12 is a bad basketball conference this year. I think AZ, WSU and CU were 100% better than Utah in many areas and the results showed that. I won't disagree with you on Craig Smith and we've already discussed that the cupboard is bare and he will have to make a splash in the portal to accomplish anything. And I don't have high hopes of him finding gems. Btw, you might want to check into some of Utah's NIL collectives. We can take care of good players but we aren't a powerhouse NIL program like some schools in the B10 and SEC. Cam Rising is a well paid man. And every scholarship player in football, Men's and women's basketball drive around in new cars provided by the collective.
  18. No crow needed. I 100% agree. I love Deivon’s speed and pass first mentality. but….. Problem is, he’s an average at best shooter and small. A stiff breeze would blow him over. He would often get caught up in the paint twirling in the trees ending in a turnover. You could clearly see the opponent’s gameplan was to get physical with him and take him out of his game. Worster was big and slow but a good defender, could bang down low and rarely took bad shots. He averaged about 6 assists per game too. He was a glue guy. Smith would have been a nice change of pace guy with Rollie. Utah’s collapse in performance is directly tied to Worster’s injury. Btw, there was never any clear report of the injury or time table to return. Zero transparency. We man handled St Mary’s on the road along with some other good wins with Rollie. I’m also disappointed with Keita’s development or lack there of. He should be further along by now. His game got worse by season’s end. Foul trouble, turnovers, missed layups and dunks. He played much better the first half of the season. Btw, shooting 65%(last in the league) from the free throw line is just unacceptable. It cost us a few games for sure. That’s on Craig. Lack of discipline. Another guy we missed this year was Exacte. Bulldog. 6’6”, 240. Built like a brick shithouse. He played with an edge in 2022/23.
  19. Butter might be too kind. We severely lack a vocal leader on the floor. Our whole team is soft. We need someone to set the tone on defense. Again, a failure on Craig’s part.
  20. We pretty much got our ass kicked the last 6-7 years in the P12. The B12 is no joke. I have zero expectations of anything but the bottom half of the conference until proven otherwise.
  21. Turn out the lights, it’s closing time. Terrible second half. Craig Smith needs to hit the transfer portal. We lose Branden Carlson, Bajema for sure. Smith, Worster and Madsen can come back but not sure if they will. Madsen can make some money overseas. I think Craig Smith’s leash is a bit shorter next year. He’s under contract until 26/27. Not sure on his buyout. I’m not sure he can recruit to be honest.
  22. Madsen can’t hit shit tonight.
  23. JFC. Lampkin is a 50 lb overweight beast in the paint. He can’t jump but he can score. Having the game of his life. lol. Coach Sanders should get this fat ass into nose tackle rotation for the football team.
  24. Ok @Chile_Ute, calling my shot tonight. CU by 5. I think Branden Carlson will still be gimpy tonight and we’ll need him in this game. First off, CU is a better team than we are. If Madsen and Bajema shoot like they did last night we can win this with some helps from Lovering and or Keita in the paint on defense. Smith will have to have a near triple double night(again) as well.
