I think it’s going to be UW, Michigan, Bama and Texas. All 4 conference champs. FSU looks like garbage right now. Even undefeated. Isn’t the ACC the worst P5 Conference this year?

I’ve watched a lot of good football today. But FSU/UL ain’t it.

Very well could happen. But they don’t always take conference champs. 2021 UGA/Bama. Both teams had 1 loss going into selection. UGA lost the SEC title game to Bama but was still selected for the playoffs. Last week I said Oregon should be # 4 above FSU. They have looked like dogshit without their QB. But nobody listens to me. lol.

I’ve felt this all year. I’m not sure you’d find many Ute fans excited to go to the B12 when comparing to what we had and built in the P12. Including academic relationships and collaboration. Our leaders are saying all the correct things about going to the B12 but I bet behind closed doors, it’s a much different story.

How would they view the B12 as an average conference? It also depends on how important being a conference champ is. I’m guessing some of it depends on how tight Bama keeps it with UGA. I also think FSU would have to get blown out by UL. If UGA loses to Bama in a tight one, does UGA drop out of the top 4? Texas would be new blood in the playoffs but anything with Bama, Ohio State, Texas in the mix is distasteful to me.

Wow. The B12 really fell off the map this year. SEC bound Texas is good but beating an average at best 18th ranked OSU team won’t be enough to get into the playoff unless some type of miracle happens. OSU needed double OT to beat a bad BYU team in Stillwater. OSU also got blown out by a bad UCF team. Not to mention another home blowout to 6-6 Sun Belt cupcake South Alabama. All 4 of the new B12 schools really brought the conference down. Oklahoma isn’t bad but couldn’t get to the title game. But at least we don’t have to watch OU get blown out in the playoffs again. OSU getting pounded in the first half today.

It just helps him maintain his 99% accuracy on picks this year.
