  1. Wow! Harass and troll the locals? From day one I have been harassed and called names, when I did nothing. The only thing I've done since is throw it back to those who are the biggest name callers, who don't like to accept realistic commentary. You just don't like hearing the truth. You're serving, I'm just returning volley. And here's an example of reality you refuse to hear and/or accept .... If a PAC12 team makes the playoff (and I think they should), they're going to get beaten badly in the semi-final.
  2. Looking ahead to next week (because I know @utenationand @Orange want to know, here are next week's predictions: Oregon is going to beat Oregon State like @Orange's mother should have beaten him, (56-17); Utah is going to close out the first year of Coach Prime's P5 experiment, and easily defeat Colorado, (48-20); AZ is just too good for ASU and will knock off their state rival, 45-13; Washington takes all of the apples, and knocks off Wazzu, 37-23; Notre Dame will put Stanford out of their misery, 48-10; UCLA goes down to California, 26-24. Enjoy the games!
  3. @utenationand @Orange - I know you both like to review my picks, so here they are from Thursday night: 5-1, again (83% for the record). I did not see the complete dismantling of Colorado or Utah taking place. But I'm not surprised. Almost nailed the Oregon score. And Cal beat Stanford by a more significant margin. I wasn't expecting bad weather in the UW/OSU game. Perhaps better weather would have yielded more scoring. But it was a close game, nonetheless - just as I expected.
  4. True. That was an absolute ass-whipping.
  5. But they didn't. I don't know who they will play in a bowl game, but if it is anyone of any quality, I'm betting the Beavs lose. Within the PAC, perhaps. If anyone makes the CFP, they will get hammered by Georgia, Ohio State or Michigan. In truth, the PAC doesn't any team that can beat the elites of CFB.
  6. So you agree that OSU can't beat Oregon. Back in January, I projected 7-5, which you continuously criticized me fore, and their going to finish 8-4 (which is a good season for OSU, and only one game off from my prediction 10 months ago). It will be interesting who they play in a bowl game. They'll probably lose.
  7. So last week, I had my worst week, although a couple of my picks were to please @utenationand @Orange, and were picked to make them happy. That being said, USC showed no heart and I don't know what happened with UCLA. That was embarassing. BUT FOR THIS WEEK .... Wazzu takes down Colorado, 31-27 Arizona upends Utah, 34-31 USC over UCLA, 42-17 Oregon cruises by ASU, 45-16 Cal beats Stanford, 27-23 Washington knocks off Oregon State, 47-40 Enjoy the games! NOTE: A special "Thank you" to @utenation and @Orange for your undying support and friendship.
  8. What proof do you have of that? And "no way" he goes to TAMU. Ole Miss is a great gig.
  9. Kiffin's not leaving Ole Miss and the SEC to travel across country, multiple times per year, to get his tail kicked in the B1G. Additionally, you need to visit Oxford, MS. It's a great place.
  10. WEEK 11 WINNERS and LOSERS Arizona over Colorado, 37-20 (AZ has found a QB and is on a roll, while Colorado is struggling, and I want @utenation to be happy). Utah over Washington, 35-34 (My PAC12 upset of the week) Cal over Washington State, 41-30 (Wazzu hasn't played in several weeks and that trend will continue on the road at California) Stanford over Oregon State, 62-7 (Because@Orange has influenced my thinking about OSU) UCLA over ASU, 38-19 (UCLA is a better team than ASU) USC over Oregon 48-45 (USC as flirted with wins over Utah and Washington. This week I think they get over the hump and pull out a win over Oregon)
  11. This year, Utah plays 11. Generally, SEC teams play 8 conference games, and one OOC P5 opponent, for 9 P5 opponents. And you need to look again, Arkansas played 9 P5 opponents (BYU is a P5 OOC opponent, and a member of the Big 12) Four-out-of-five years, Georgia plays 10 P5 opponents, when they open with a P5 OOC opponent and close with their annual game against GaTech to close the season ... Florida (as they did this season) typically plays a P5 OOC opponent early, then FSU in their annual game to close their season .... S. Carolina typically plays a P5 OOC opponent early and ends their season with their annual rival game against Clemson .... Kentucky "sometimes" has a P5 OOC opponent and closes with their annual rival game against Louisville .... LSU and Tennessee have often played 2 P5 OOC opponents. As it has been stated before, the PAC12 has "elected" to play 9 conference opponents because they wanted to reduce the cross-country travel, which leads to sleep deprivation and concerns about academics being impacted. That's why the conference put together a 9-game conference schedule (conference HQ's schedule conference games, not individual teams). It's what the conference officials elected to do, for reasons I just explained. Not because teams are trying to be bad-ass. THIS SEASON: 25% of the PAC12's OOC opponents are FCS teams; 25% of the SEC's OOC opponents are FCS teams (1 for each SEC team); 30% of the PAC12's OOC opponents are P5 teams; 29% of the SEC's OOC opponent are P5 teams. So, the conferences (this season) are essentially the same on OOC scheduling. All things considered - what's your point?

    2022 Bowls

Not sure. Better than in past years, but I would say 4th.

Who won the NCG? Not a PAC12 team, all of whom were playing in meaningless, bowl games.

    2022 Bowls

Where is Texas at right now? If you paid attention to life outside of the PAC12, you would know that Texas was on the cusp of doing great things. It just so happens that they are doing so, one year earlier than expected. They could very well make the CFP and win the NCG. Neither Washington or Oregon could win a semi-final in the CFP. That being said, I think BAMA wins the NCG

    2022 Bowls

You're catching on. Every bowl game, outside of the Final Four, is purely for entertainment purposes only, and doesn't mean much. Do you actually think that the B1G runner-up cares about a meaningless Rose Bowl? Or the SEC runner-up cares about a meaningless Sugar Bowl? (And do forth).

    2022 Bowls

Before last year's bowl games, I said that Texas was "trending up" and everyone questioned me. How I came to that conclusion is because I pay attention. Where is Texas now, compared to last December? Trending up, and in the hunt to make the CFP.
  19. SEC scheduled more ranked OOC opponents than the PAC12, and they just that, every year.
  20. SDSU is 3-6. Of the 3 non-P5 opponents of UGA's schedule, UTMartin just won their conference; Ball State is 2-7, while UAB is also 3-6. I think SDSU would beat FCS UTMartin, but so would Ball State and SDSU. Games against Ball State and UAB would probably be an even contest. Certainly they wouldn't manhandle Ball State or UAB. Where is OSU's P5 OOC opponent? No where to be found.
  21. I will take your bet, anytime, anywhere. Just let me know when.
  22. That is correct. I knew Riley had brought a lot of offensive weapons in from Oklahoma, and I expected them to have a better defense. But they didn't. And an injured Williams kept them from winning the PAC12 CCG and making the playoffs. I also predicted USC to go undefeated this year, win the conference, and make the playoffs (as did nearly every preseason projection from nearly every analyst and CFB magazine. USC's lack of defense has been the problem that no one expected (for a 2nd year in a row). Now they've fired their DC, and I predict they will beat Oregon on Saturday. To that end, name for me one person (including yourself) who has been "perfect" on every prediction, every week, every month and every year. You can't. But somehow you expect that from me and are quick to point out when I miss a pick. I guess I should be flattered that you think so highly of my picks.
  23. Where? You keep making statements claiming that I made statements that I didn't make. Pull up the quote and post it. You can't, because the quote doesn't exist.
  24. Ole Miss and TN are formidable opponents, but they won't beat UGA. Michigan could lose either game, but I don't see that happening. Ohio State will lose to Michigan and could lose to Minnesota in a trap game the week before. FSU will easily dispense of Miami and Florida. They will also win their CCG. I think USC upsets Oregon this week, and Utah beats Washington - a team that has escaped close games of late, and who doesn't show much defense. I also think that Oregon beats Washington in the CCG, and that puts the PAC12 out of the CFP conversation. My predictions: Texas loses the Big12 Championship game, misses the playoffs. Michigan wins out and wins the B1G CCG and makes the playoffs for the 3rd straight year. FSU wins out and wins the ACC CCG and makes the playoffs. BAMA wins out, beats UGA in the SEC Championship game, and makes the CFP. UGA takes the fourth slot and makes the CFP. BAMA wins the NC.
