The only duo's of teams that make some sense for the Pac would be Kansas/KState and/or TCU/TTech. I would strongly prefer that the Pac stay pat, as I am sure if they expand to 16 the original Pac8 members would want to be one division, and all the newcomers in the other which is not what Utah signed up for ( I understand this is a purely selfish view ).

It is a small but loud and obnoxious segment of fans, and I think it has been shrinking. Many fans try to be extra hospitable to compensate, but there are some people who behave poorly, and it always bothers me when I see it.

Unfortunately, there definitely is a segment of fans at Utah that act like assholes to opposing fans. Much of that is born from the rivalry with BYU, and their fans being pretty much the only opposing fans that would ever come visit, and many of them acted like douche bags when they visited. This does not excuse boorish behavior towards opposing fans that come to visit, we are in a big boy conference now and the fans need to behave like it. Many fans recognize this and try to go out of their way to be nice to the opposing fanbases, but there are still far too many that need to shape up.

Upgrades to tech are fairly significant, but whether or not to upgrade depends on what you plan to run. There are some games which will only run on the latest platforms, if these are must haves, the choice is obvious. Most new games for the next several years will run on ps4 or ps5. Having ps5 may allow you to run at a higher resolution like 4k, or may have some enhanced features, while others will be virtually identical. My 13 yo son mostly plays sports games, and really isn't too interested in getting a nextgen system at the moment. If you are into the latest shooters, or need to have the very highest resolution or fastest startup, you might want to spring for a new system. Personally, I wouldn't pay a premium ( over msrp) to get a nextgen machine earlier unless there were an exclusive title I felt I had to have.
