  1. Colorado is #1!!! https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/34726276/college-football-bottom-10-kansas-point-no-return
  2. Depends on how cheap BYU is. If CU offers Sitake 3-4M and BYU won't go over 2M, I would think he would leave. Never know exactly what their financials are since they are a private institution, but have heard many times they try to play the "serving the church" or "it's your calling" card and lowball the coaches. I know LaVell put up with it and never made over 1M, but I think it is a reason Bronco always seemed to be interviewing for every opening and wanting out. Low pay and dealing with unrealistic expectations from some of their crazy ass fans isn't the recipe to keep great talent, but we'll see. Ryan Smith could open up his checkbook and keep him there, but if he doesn't make a competitive salary to what he can get elsewhere, I don't think he will be there long term.
  3. Guessing JalapeƱo happy about this. Was always a headscratcher hire, may be time for a new AD as well. CU needs to make a football hire, not go for splashy guy. Maybe Sitake? Not sure who all is out there that CU can attract. Sad that a once proud program has been down this long, but one would think they could right the ship with the right hire and support from the administration.
  4. Agreed, playing at Rice Eccles will be an advantage for Utah, but the Beavers defense against USC looked legit. I am hoping Utah brings its "A" game. The Pac looks like it has more very good teams than it has in years.
  5. They just verified at press conference that Kuithe is out for the season. Feel terrible for the kid, just heartbreaking.
  6. Oregon State game has me really worried. Their defense looked great, and Utah likely without their best offensive weapon Brant Kuithe ( went down on Saturday with what looked like a knee injury, hoping he is not done for the year, but didn't look good ). I am hoping Utah's defense shows strong, but the fact that USC was only able to score 17 has me worried that Utah will struggle to score without their go to guy.

  9. Yeah, loved the Expanse. Probably second after Firefly for me.
  10. Series on prime I have enjoyed: Fleabag The Marvelous Mrs Maisel The Boys The Man in the Highcastle Outer Range Night Sky The Expanse Jack Ryan Goliath Sneaky Pete
  11. The dumbass thinks the big issue is that the top secret documents he stole are not in a tidy stack.
  12. Loved "The Offer", very entertaining and really well done. Excellent cast, and the nods it gave to the Godfather were great.
  13. HotD is fine so far, and gives me hope for the series. I realize that they have been mostly setting up the story for the first two episodes, and expect that there will be a lot more action going forward. The acting and production values all seem good, so have high hopes.
  14. Funny how these folks complaining about helping out "privileged" college graduates where 75% of money goes to people making $88k or less had no problem with massive tax cuts where the majority of money went to the top 1%.
  15. A win would mean little, but a loss would be huge.

Yet another member of Cult 45 in the House of Representatives. Reports are she is thinking about running for POTUS to assure Trump loss, but it worries me that could backfire, as the percentage of GOP voters who actually oppose the authoritarianism and attempted coup seems to be smaller than those on the left who may vote for her because they don't like Biden, or think she is super courageous for not supporting attempted coup.
  17. https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-college-football-poll AP Top 25 College Football Poll The Associated Press began its college football poll on Oct. 19, 1936, and it is now the longest-running poll of those that award national titles at the end of the season. The preseason poll was started in 1950. A panel of 62 sports writers and broadcasters from around the country votes on the poll weekly. 18. My perspective is likely slanted, as a Math and Physics duel major, and my classes were all sausage parties. However, looking at Cal Tech's demographics, it seems a lot more men than women are interested in technical majors. I am not saying women can't do Math and Physics, as some of the more brilliant people I came across in these fields were women, only that they don't pursue these types of Majors in great numbers, whether it is because there are social stigmas women get who chose the "nerdy" majors or because they favor professions that involve human interactions ( becoming Physicians as opposed to Physicists ).
  19. This can be highly driven by the majors that a school offers. STEM majors draw more men. If you look at Cal Tech's enrollment with no context, you could think they are a bunch of misogynists' who hate black people. Need to look deeper, into admissions percentages and whatnot. All that being said, if I am an 18 year old hetrosexual male, the above stats would make me want to go to UW or UA.
