I still think the Ute defensive coaches are going to use Malone Mataele like they’ve used Eric Weddle and Chase Hansen in the past - as a hybrid SS/ILB. That’s just my impression. Mark it down, in a surprise it’s Gordon. Protects the ball, high percent of completions, completes the drives with points. Just virtually no game snaps. Exciting.
