Would I want him back next season? Of course but no one in their right mind in Viska's shoes would risk one more season of injuries which could reduce his potential NFL career time. Anyone that complains about him declaring for the NFL after what he has been through deserves a hard & fast slap on the back of the head. Viska would have been crazy to come back next season IMHO when he could be earning money.
PAC MAN
In light of the NCAA moving towards allowing players to earn endorsements which might not happen next season, will that lead to more players declaring for the NFL & NBA early?
Chad Sexington
Jaylon Johnson will too as soon as the season is over.
PAC MAN
No word on Musfta Johnson whether he comes back to Boulder for one more season. He was mentioned as a possible first round draft pick in some articles. Given his injuries this season, it's understandable if he just declares. Orange
I'd be shocked if Hodgins doesn't declare soon.

The D will still be a good, tough Kyle Whittingham D, but I would be very surprised if they were on par with this year.

Some mock drafts have at least five WRs including Shenault Jr going in the first round. Maybe Hodgins is on the fence and he has until January 20th to declare. https://247sports.com/Article/JJ-Taylor-NFL-Draft-138880389/ JJ Taylor is saying bye-bye to Kevin Sumlin and the Wildcats. Not nine, more like seven (including Jaylon). Three DLs, one LB and three DBs.
PAC MAN
I think another Stanford TE is going to declare for the NFL early in a weak TE class. Nice knowing you Colby Parkinson.

PAC MAN
Not a surprise since he came in with Shenault Jr but given how many key drops he had this recent season, I don't see how this hurts CU too much. His 96 yard TD against Nebraska will be remembered tho.
