All Hail
Harrison Barnes must have some serious dirt on a lot of people. I've never seen a player make the USA team and get mentioned as a max player while doing pretty much nothing his entire career.
glduck
i think cousins and jordan are great picks. cousins is more or less unstoppable and the two things that tend to hold him back (attitude and the kings organization) shouldn't follow him to rio. i don't think there's anyone in the world game quite like cousins or jordan. good luck, everybody else. klay is the only automatic guy from downtown. i know it might seem like i'm looking for a nitpick, but team USA was more or less bailed out by kobe in 08 when he caught fire from 3-pt range. we have crazy athletes, but we've always had better athletes than anyone else and sometimes our offense gets bogged down by clogged lanes and a good zone defense by the opposition. makes me wonder if a guy like derozen might be better off at home, and instead put in a reddick.... or wes matthews... or hell, a cj mccollum. but it shouldn't matter. we'll win gold. All Hail
If Kyrie shoots like he did against us, we have two guys who can consistently hit from downtown. I think you're selling Paul George short, that dude can shoot. Lowry will either hit 5 3's or go 0-8 from 3 on Any given night. This team could really use a Chris Paul type pg. when Kyrie isn't in its basically going to be a Durant iso with Klay spotting up when the double comes. MrBug708
I felt like the 2004 Olympic disaster wouldnt have happened had they had a player like Michael Redd, who could have hit a three point shot consistently. Instead we had to rely on Marbury for everything
