Rats in NYC as well.

Matter of fact, if your city DOESN'T have rats, that probably means your food sucks and no one wants to live there (to paraphrase Trevor Noah)

You are speaking the truth.

I didn't see what I ate at that restaurant but boy that crab meat mixed with spinach stuffed in a loaf of french bread (it was like 15-17 years ago) and boy that was so good.

Dr. Ben Carson corroborates Trump's take on Baltimore and Dr. Carson operated on children at John Hopkins for decades so he knows what's he's talking about.  Sending children back home to those rats after those operations wasn't something he wanted to think about.

Yes, I'm sure every patient Ben Carson operated on was a child from West Baltimore, and of course there are no rats, and ticks anywhere else and the planet. He's an asshat.

And by the way, he's been HUD secretary for two-and-a-half years and done absolutely nothing except slash the budget and decorate his office..

I have no idea why the Right isn't getting this.  Trump has a series of about 7 tweets from 2015 where he slams Baltimore, and says he could have it cleaned up in no time.  Welp, he's had two and a half years, with his handpicked HUD secretary, and apparently it's shitty as ever and he's passing the blame to the congressman.

I suppose that criticism is too nuanced and requires too much critical thought on the part of @PapaG and @Jalapeno.

Here's someone who's involved because he cares, not because he's trying to become an "influencer."

Obama stands by the term 'thugs,' White House says

DAVID JACKSON | USA TODAY
Updated 11:59 a.m. PDT Apr. 29, 2015

President Obama doesn't regret using the term "thug" in describing the violent rioters in Baltimore this week, spokesman Josh Earnest said Wednesday.

"Whether it's arson or, you know, the looting of a liquor store ... those were thuggish acts," Earnest said.

In discussing the riots Tuesday, Obama assailed the "criminals and thugs who tore up the place," and described them as a distraction from the real issues of police brutality.

Some critics ascribe racial connotations to the word "thug" -- Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake walked back the term earlier this week -- but Obama doesn't agree, officials said

Just another white supremacist..

https://www.theepochtimes.com/ex-nfl-player-says-he-asked-trump-to-call-out-elijah-cummings-says-rep-big-part-of-problem_3034699.html

A former NFL player said that he met with President Donald Trump in July and asked the president to call out Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) for contributing to the issues with Baltimore, part of his Maryland district.

Trump later called out Cummings over the district.

“I had a chance to meet with President Trump, and I told him please call out Elijah Cummings and Baltimore. I asked him to do that three weeks ago and he did it,” said Jack Brewer, a black man who played linebacker from 2002 to 2006, told Fox News.

Brewer said that he visited Baltimore and was impacted by what he saw.

“I’m seeing these kids that don’t have any core, no culture within them. They don’t have anyone teaching them or training them,” Brewer explained. He blamed lawmakers, including Cummings, for focusing on “issues that help them raise money” instead of ones affecting the “poor black kids whose parents are not donating to their PACs and funds.”

That district includes a wealthy county (Howard County) that helps bring that median household income number up.

that’s EXACTLY why Trump attacking the entire district is so stupid.
