EastCoastFan
I'll reword my question, Assuming Ludwig has as his goal to become a head coach, which is the better path, the preferred launching pad, his current job or OC at ND?

Good question. My perspective is he has been an OC long enough and never seems to be working on getting on HC searches. Seems like he would’ve pressed by now. He and Kyle were GAs together at Utah when I was a student trainer. Long enough in the tooth.

Mano
https://footballscoop.com/thescoop/the-scoop-monday-february-13-2023 Quote Notre Dame: Utah offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig will remain at Utah per Pete Thamel who adds that "Ludwig's buyout proved to be an obstacle." Sources tell FootballScoop between Ludwig's buyout and Jim Harding's (Utah's offensive line coach), Notre Dame was facing a buyout bill approaching $4 million. Mano
Apparently ND made another run at Ludwig and Harding today, but were ultimately rejected by the Utah coaches.
