Sure, but your comment was in reference to what you saw in a preaseason game, was it not?

I don't think we have any idea whether San Diego's defense is going to suck just because they got gashed by those two guys in a preseason game.

I doubt they are much better than 20th in D.

equally fun: the bottom five.

28. san diego

29. los angeles

30. tennessee

31. cleveland

32. san francisco

look what some of these franchises are doing: the niners have turned a $100 million quarterback into a back-up for blaine gabbert; the browns brought in RG3 and said "yessir, this'll do just fine"; tennessee kamikazes any hope for a bright future by hiring interim coach mike mularkey, the nfl equivalent of a house plant; the rams EXTEND jeff "hey remember the super bowl year? that was great" fisher; and san diego can't even figure out how to sign a first round draft pick in an era where holdouts are virtually impossible.

I'm just excited that there appear to be 5 franchises that are more inept than the Raiders and one of them lives across the bridge from us (At least in name.)  The Raiders are the only team from California not on that list.  Crazy.

growing pet peeve: receivers who are clearly down by contact who get up and run as if they weren't.

example: tyler lockett catches the ball, is tackled by TWO guys, gets up and runs SIXTY yards to the EZ. thats a lonely walk back. just don't do it.

bigger pet peeve: when guys in COLLEGE do this, when it doesn't matter if you're down by contact or not.

A rule in college that is long overdue to be changed to match the NFL.

against a very good viking front our line looked like a bunch of gritty maulers in the run game and an abomination unto the lord in pass pro.

I don't know, it looked like Wilson was the main problem. He was holding onto the ball for to long.
