Utes going in the wrong direction.  The 2021 recruiting class has CU 9th nationally with five commits (and some transfers in), Stanford 19th with three commits, ASU 27th with five, UCLA 32nd with two, and Utah as the only Pac-12 team with no (like in zero) 2021 commitments.  For 2022, there also are no commitments to Utah, while UCLA (2nd nationally) has two, and Arizona and Colorado (ninth and twelfth respectively) have one highly rated incomer.  Can Smith get it done with the big boys (unusual to be calling anyone in the Pac-12 as "big boys")?  Ute fans on this board were hoping for other candidates.  Maybe recruits were too.  But it's early.  Like we always say (until it's too late,) it's early.

UCLA gets an Oregon transfer for the Women's Basketball team, which is their 9th commitment in recruiting. They now have 14 scholarship players, double what they had available this past year, dear to COVID opt outs and foreign visa issues.
