H2H tie breakers wouldn't apply to any tie involving both Arizona & Oregon since they didn't face each other.

A Breakdown of potential 2 loss ties breakers.

Arizona, Oregon, Oregon St & Washington: Arizona & Oregon

Oregon, Oregon St & Washington: Oregon St (1) & Washington (2)

Arizona, Oregon, Oregon St: Oregon St (2)

Arizona, Oregon & Washington: Arizona & Oregon

Arizona, Oregon St & Washington: Arizona (1) & Oregon St (2)

Makes sense. In my scenario, Utah beats AZ. And as I mentioned, I didn't know what the tie breaker is if both AZ and Oregon have 2 losses.

Here are the tie breakers:

Multiple-Team Ties

In the event of a tie between more than two teams, the following procedures will be used. After one team has an advantage and is “seeded”, all remaining teams in the multiple-team tie-breaker will repeat the multiple-team tie-breaking procedure. If at any point the multiple-team tie is reduced to two teams, the two-team tie-breaking procedure will be applied.

  1. Head-to-head (best cumulative win percentage in games among the tied teams). If not every tied team has played each other, go to step 2.
  2. Win percentage against all common conference opponents (must be common among all teams involved in the tie)
  3. Record against the next highest placed common opponent in the standings (based on record in all games played within the conference), proceeding through the standings.

That fired head coach is the best job in the world.

aTm has money but damn, that's a big buyout. That's what happens when you think you can keep up with the Bamas and UGAs in the SEC.. Johnny Manizel gave that fanbase hope.

Maybe Sanders takes the aTm gig? 😁

Lol, cu Twitter has been a mess after Stephen a smith said he should take that job.  For a number of reasons I’d be surprised if he even interviewed.

$76MM to do nothing, what a world.

I think Smith is an OSU lifer… if this latest round of conference realignment didn’t fuck OSU over. As is, I would be surprised if he doesn’t seriously consider OSU (or Michigan State, or any major conference opening).

I suspect he doesn't take the UCLA job. I'm not even sure ethe UCLA job opens. But his parents are UCLA season ticket holders and he is from Pasadena. I think that is why his name is being mentioned.

I said it in the summer. I would have rather had OSU than CU to the B12.

OSU football is in pretty good hands today.  OSU’s budget and recruiting is about to take a serious hit.

Thank god you are not in charge of that decision!

Yeah, I’m not in charge but it’s not too hard to see OSU is a better football program than CU top to bottom.  Football drives the bus. Smith is proven and built the right way.  My story remains consistent.

CU was a nice dog and pony show for 1/4 of a season. Increase in fans. Nice. But they’re there for a coach, not the football program.  An unproven coach and the increased interest only lasts as long as he wins or it’s something new.

1-8 in conference won’t cut the mustard in any conference. I realize you disagree with your CU goggles but the OSU stats and facts remain.

The B12 will be in a fight for their life once the final shoe drops in realignment and the conference needs as many strong football programs as possible.

Osu is better now, no doubt.  In reality for all is king but other factors (big 12 history, tv market, etc) also mattered.

As far as the long term, time will tell.  They had a good start and it’s been rough in conference, no doubt.  I do think cu will be better next year, but obviously there are no guarantees.  They were better, but in fairness it was impossible to not get better.  Next year, to me, is the big year.

It’s only my opinion but I’ve been a fan of OSU and what they’ve built for a long time.  Big fan of Smith.

If CU remained consistent this year, I would be fair about it. But the results just aren’t there.

I like wsu and osu.  They got screwed.

CU is still a lot better.  But they have to come through next year.  Be interesting to see what the conference looks like.  My assumption is a much easier conference slate, the pac is a beast this year.
