Not a detailed analysis just he and Staley very similar in experience, accomplishment and age. I think one of the things Staley’s age negatively affected was his ability to establish and maintain a team culture of discipline, toughness and execution. Macdonald is walking into a locker room with the same problem (Pete really fell short on this the last couple of years). Will be interesting to see how Macdonald handles this role. I love Bowers both as primary receiver, and more importantly, as Herbert’s check down go to guy. Herbert really needs someone in that role.
