Someone already offered more

You also have to wonder if there’s been any back tracking on NIL from OSU’s collective or whatever they have.

Top talent wants to go to and be recruited by power schools.  And boosters are more likely to be invested as well.

He wanted a one time full payment, Dam Nation (the “collective”) was making quarterly payments in order to avoid the Iowa/Proctor scam.  (Proctor transferred into Iowa excepted the NIL money from Iowa then went back to Alabama within 90 days.)

Martinez accused the collective of breaking the deal.  I can’t imagine where NIL is taking us.

***gasp**** young athletes of color get to play the market like old, white men have for 300 years.

RB is one position we usually reload in.

If an EE student at OSU gets offered 100k to transfer to Nebraska to finish their BS, they're gone. People are such hypocrites. It's about time the players were empowered, even if it means the destruction of a sport that was already the rich getting richer. At least now we can look it in the face.

And the sooner we look it in the face, maybe the more we take a look at the ENTIRE system of predatory capitalism in this country and consider whether the guardrails are sufficient

Oof, Jay Toia enters to he portal. UCLA is definitely light on talent. Thanks Chip!

Might be a long first year in the B10 eh? I didn't see Carsen Ryan play in our spring game.  We are pretty loaded with talent at TE with Landon King and Brant Kuithe,  But there is no way Ryan doesn't play. He's too talented and productive. I'm guessing a lot of jumbo packages along with some catches. He's a big boy. Kuithe and King could play some WR. Both are tall but not 250 lbs.

Outside of Oregon, Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State, I don't know who is supposed to be good this year. USC is a hit and miss operation and I think Brennan was a terrible choice as UW's coach. Michigan should be up there unless Moore can't coach.

UCLA was picked 14th in the pre-season spring power rankings by Athlon.
