MrBug708
I'm guessing ucla ends up at about #12, consider we will probably have kept 3 kids from Mora's class. Chip is a relentless recruiter

MrBug708
I'd imagine the player pool is much nicer at ucla, strictly from a location POV
MrBug708
Matt Alaimo, 3* TE from CT, commits to UCLA. Chip has been in like 9 states in four days. Dude is relentless on the recruiting trail. I can only imagine what his recruiting would be like if he actually enjoyed it
glduck
well: he was always very good at it; he was handed a much better roster here, it’s entirely possible he saw what he was inheriting from mora and knew he had to bust ass on a ticking clock for a much-needed infusion of talent; its also entirely possible now that it’s clear the nfl is not for him and he didn’t enjoy broadcasting that he’s embraced an aspect of the job he used to dislike out of necessity. there’s nowhere else to go. MrBug708
4* OK, Chris Murray's mom doesn't want to sign his LOI to ucla and is actively reaching out to other schools to recruit her son. Very weird situation all around. Apparently she's been upset with him for not applying to Stanford
glduck
i’ve heard this several times over the years. how does that work exactly... if he’s willing to defy mom does he just have to wait till he’s 18 to sign (either a NLI or a financial aid agreement)? it would be weird to be 18 and still need a parent’s signature, no?
