Small business funding is tapped out and it doesn't appear that the House wants to come back to town. Good for him speaking up for people who might not be getting their paychecks from their small businesses. Perhaps the Dems want those people to get unemployment insurance instead which pays up to half of what you are earning. Ask yourself if you would prefer a full paycheck or half of what you are getting (could be less) from the government. As someone who temporarily went through unemployment due to the government shutdown, Trump's preference makes sense because people are staying at home and stressing out over bills in addition to the concern for the overall mental health of the people of this country. Trump could have decided to not give a damn about those people and force them to the unemployment lines but that would further strain the unemployment centers plus some states are running out of money as well. Congress especially the DNC controlled House is the one who controls the money. What are those House Reps doing at this point? The states themselves shouldn't rely solely on the feds to have all the supplies they need and they need to make sure their emergency stockpiles are filled. Same thing for the feds. The sad thing is that both have been warned about this possibility for at least two decades. The Obama administration and Congress at the time didn't bother to replenish the stockpile and the same goes for Trump & Congresses that he has worked with plus the disbanding of that pandemic response team. A collective screw up and anyone regardless of political affiliation should demand that government is better prepared from now on. If his twitter melting down today spurs Congressional action soon, it was worth it. If not, get ready for a red wave this November. One has to ask how things would have been different had the GOP retained control of the House after the 2018 elections.

You can bend statistics to your will plus the numbers polled will never be enough to give a good answer. I'll wait for the November 3rd election results because I'm going to vote on what I think is best for this country not some group think from the latest polls. People wanted Trump impeached and that is why the DNC took back the House. Now they get to choose between Biden (and perhaps his running mate) and Trump. Will people be comfortable with Nancy Pelosi as a potential VP if she sticks around long enough? That might be enough to give the House back to the GOP while the GOP retains the Senate. Then what if Trump wins the election as well?

The stockpiles are depleted because of him. He could've replenished them (oh AND KEPT THE PANDEMIC TASK FORCE INTACT) anytime in the past 3 years, or for that matter, 3 MONTHS (when the clear and present danger of this virus was made obvious to him by WH advisors). Trump STILL has not used the full power of the DPA to force companies to manufacture testing kits, ventilators, masks, and PPE. Why?
Scscsc89
Tell us, @CRBuff — is this the kind of thing a dictator is more or less likely to do? (Using state funds to help them get re-elected.)

Orange
There is no defending this man anymore. They all deflect to Biden. Or play on misogyny and being up pelosi. Or try to gross you out with Schumer’s Jewyness. Seriously, that’s the playbook. Anti-semitism, misogyny, and pretending Biden’s gaffes are worse than trump ruining the country. KUGRDON
1. With PapaG and Davis being gone, There is not a single poster on this board who can vote for Trump consistent with their core values. 2. There are several posters on this board who cannot vote for Biden Consistent with their core values. 3. That being said, anyone who talks about “Biden’s gaffes” rather than his loss of cognitive function is delusional.

The president just suggested that people inject bleach, and you're on here defending him. EVERYONE loses cognitive function as they age (clearly; just look at your posts), but Trump never had it to begin with. There's only one candidate to vote for this November if you love this country and want to save it.
