Orange
I'm glad I can hit the restroom with my son during the sloth scene. You're welcome!
KUGRDON
I had not seen a John Grisham novel movie in a long time so I watched the chamber last night. Chris O'Donnell, Faye Dunaway and Gene Hackman. Chris O'Donnell gave his usual performance. Fade Dunaway was horrible and I noticed she was nominated for the Razzie worst supporting actress award. It had to be Gene Hackman's worst performance ever. Each of them seemed to be, well, acting. The plot was weak, character development was weak, even the racist bigotry of klan members and the corruption of the State governor, judges and legislators seemed halfhearted. Was this the worst of the John Grisham movies?

Orange
No kid Friday evening, and I'm considering what to do, and the movie theater is an option. I'm soliciting help. Which do I see (my arguments in support)? A. Deadpool (Good effects, better for big screen, will be out of theaters soon) B. Spotlight (Won Best Picture. Sort of have a duty to see it soon.) C. 10 Cloverfiled Lane (crazy good reviews, John Goodman hollering like a madman sounds enormously entertaining) D. Brothers Grimsby (I really just have to, HAVE TO see the elephant scene so I can feel what Jimmy Kimmel's audience was feeling) E. Stay in, get high, watch Black Mass on DVD, binge House of Cards. (I've got peanut butter cookies) F. Porn (Oh yoooouuu know)

RogueDuck
Anyone know the new Star Wars movie will be out on streaming channels and physical & digital media on April Fool's? Idk but I saw the blue ray comes out in Apr. I'll be buying it. I don't usually buy movies these days, but that's a must have.
Orange
Saw 10 Cloverfield Lane. Not what I expected, but chilling and suspenseful. John Goodman is a master.

Scscsc89
Harrison Ford signs up for a new Indiana Jones film. Someone pointed out that if they keep the timeline accurate, it would have to take place in 1974. Yikes

KUGRDON
I've heard that The Big Short is pretty funny. Can somebody who is totally unsophisticated enjoy the movie?
spaniard
Big Short is a great movie. And spot on about the Sausage Party movie looking amazing. Crazy to remember when Rogen was on Howard Stern years ago and talked about a movie that he wanted to do -- this thing has been in plan for a long time. KUGRDON
I saw the big short and Brooklyn this weekend. Enjoyed them both, But I confess to using my iPhone to research terms while watching the big short. Brooklyn is the consummate chick flick, but if you will privately acknowledge that sometimes you like chick flicks this is one to see.
Scscsc89
Sure -- chick flicks have their place -- and it's not watching it in the theater.

I get that there is an overwhelming sense of attraction for someone like Selena Gomez, but I honestly would much rather watch Margot Robbie explaining to me the most mundane thing in the world, than watching Selena Gomez for longer than 5 seconds. Though of course, this opinion is completely subject to change depending on how/what she does in the upcoming Neighbors 2 movie. But seriously, that bathtub scene with Margot....yikes.
