glduck Posted August 21, 2017 Share Posted August 21, 2017 i get the criticism that this was not jon snow's finest moment ("who fucking cares if cersei believes in white walkers or not?") but i still think that episode ruled. i also don't care about the crazy travel schedules anymore. it's only jarring, imo, because for the first five seasons everything was done far more deliberately. i'm okay with jon snow traveling long distances at this point in the game without some crazy adventure interrupting the journey. there's shit to do in these final few episodes. glduck Posted August 21, 2017 Share Posted August 21, 2017 i assumed the night king knew all of this was coming. it's the only explanation i can think of that makes sense for why they didn't just rush and kill jon snow & company right away. they had the spears ready knowing that the dragons would be making an appearance. I had no clue there were so many expendable members of the walker hunting party. Didn't the bear kill at least 2? Then at least, what, 3 dead at the lake?
