Rosen is going through warmups and is dressed, but barring some last minute miracle, won't be cleared to play

I think UCLA saw how ESPN treated Royce Freeman with Herbie and Mack Brown trashing him for not playing.

I applaud UCLA, because this month-long "concussion" bullshit provided good cover for Rosen.  Chip doesn't disclose injuries and is secretive as it gets, so I'm guessing this was his idea.  If Rosen really can't recover from a concussion in a month, that's a huge red flag for NFL teams.  If he's that bad in the head, he shouldn't have been practicing at all. We all know it was just a cover story though, and ESPN played along so as not to criticize him, so it's a non-story.  Oregon could have really helped out Royce by saying he had a sore ankle, or got the flu, or got kicked in the nuts by a stripper at Crazy Horse II. Something.  Anything!

A new defensive staff can't get here soon enough

Chip Kelly wasn't exactly known for his defensive staff so I'm not sure if an improvement in is the works but it might not matter much once the offense gets rolling.

As an aside, I bet a good amount of coin on KSU -7.  I went to sleep with the score 17-7 UCLA and woke up very happy.

3-3 in their last 6?

Did you mean 2-4?

Or we could go 3-6 in their last 9.  Or 4-8 in their last 12. Or 5-10 in their last 15. Or 6-12 in their last 18.  They seem to win once every three tries. Admirable?

I looked up Pac 12's historical bowl records and here is what I found.

1. Utah 17-4

2. USC 34-17

3. Stanford 14-11

4. Oregon State 9-6

5. Cal 11-10

6. Wazzu 7-6

7. Arizona State 14-14

8. Arizona 9-9

9. Washington 17-18

10. UCLA 16-19

11. Oregon 13-18

12. Colorado 12-17

Only 4 teams have losing records, pretty good.

Just seems like a weird thing to harp on, but when you dont make bowl games very much, everyone elses misery is your joy

The fact that UCLA sucks in bowl games over the past 25 years is a "weird thing to harp on" in a bowl thread the morning after another UCLA bowl loss?
