That amplifies the exceptional job that Coach Karl Dorrell has done for the football team this season. Having the football team put up in a hotel has helped but someone has to maintain the discipline. Not a slam on Coach Boyle at the slightest. glduck
Lost to Mizzou by 8, beat Seton Hall by 13. Will Richardson, our best returning player, had thumb surgery the morning of game one, he’s out six weeks. Big blow to our offensive consistency and ball handling. Turnovers were a problem in each of our first two games and likely will be going forward. Wing game is strong. Duarte, Williams, and Figuerero are all big, long, and can score/defend. Eugene Omoruyi, Rutgers transfer, led us in scoring in both games, 31 against Mizzou and 22 against Hall. He’s about as versatile a big man as I’ve ever seen here, through two games at least. I don’t think Mizzou is particularly good, might ride the bubble most of the season, but they beat us because they’re one of the most experienced teams in the nation and it showed against our latest hastily thrown together concoction. In the Pac-12 race, that probably means UCLA and ASU (at least) are a leg up on us. Stanford, too, most likely.

glduck
Oregon had a rough shooting night from the floor but beat Washington to go to 4-1. Mizzou, our one loss, moved to 5-0 after knocking off #6 Illinois, so that’s neat. Unless we add a game or two we now have a week and a half off before hosting UCLA. MrBug708
UCLA - Oregon delayed. Sounds like an official tested positive, so they are retesting and awaiting results. Expected to start by 2 pm. The conference will also have a D2 official at every game to cover possible positive testing, but that won't start until Monday.
glduck
Dang, they just announced no game today. This was going to be Oregon’s best test since the opener.
EastCoastFan
The only thing we can be sure of this year is that it's unlikely that any Pac-12 team will play 20 regular season conference games.
