The RPI was a freaking joke in large part because it didn't even consider games against lower division opponents. The mid majors have had inflated RPIs for...forever because of this. When Oregon plays Idaho and WINS, their RPI drops, but when Fresno State plays a Division 2 team that could be hundreds of spots lower than Idaho if D2 teams were rated, the RPI doesn't even consider the game. It's total garbage.

Quack 12
Hey trickydick, I found this on the HHB Glossary of Terms: FIVE REASONSOrigin: BondawgOriginally was posted in a sincere expression of confidence that Washington would beat Oregon in 2008. Quickly morphed into usage for any game, sport and team under the sun. Has achieved legendary troll status. Mike Damone (RIP) gets most of the credit for this. Note: List is always incomplete with mentioning Ben Ossai as part of the offensive line. "1. Keith Price - He is the best player on the field, enough said on that. He has three years under his belt and he will do everything possible to win the game.2. Offensive Line - We average a weight of 332 lbs across the line, they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. Hatchie, Brostek, Dolbec, Ikehara, Schaefer, White-Frisbee, etc. These boys have the attitude and are ready to rumble.3. Wilcox - New Defensive Scheme and a new attitude. Every player has spoke out about the difference between Holt and Wilcox, we will see a much improved defense on 9/1.4. Speed, Speed, Speed - This is the fastest our team has been in a long time. Doeontae Cooper, Connor Cree, Cooper Pelluer, Kavario Middleton, Will Chandler, etc. The newbies will be inexperienced but will bring something that we haven't had in past seasons, speed.5. Time of Possession - I think we can dominate the time of possession stat. The more we can shorten the game and keep our defense off of the field, the better chance we have to win the game.I think UW wins rather easily...say 34-17?"
MrBug708
Kentucky didn’t run a play in Texas A&M territory until overtime. The Wildcats scored two touchdowns in regulation: a 54-yard touchdown pass and a defensive fumble return. Kentucky did get to Texas A&M’s 48-yard line in the first quarter, but it committed a false start and backed up before running a play. In overtime, the Wildcats picked up 8 yards, then lost 8 yards, then missed a field-goal attempt. The Aggies won 20-14 on a touchdown run. Yes, these are so dumb they can be amusing. Here's one from September against BYU posted by huskyskeet. https://www.cougarboard.com/board/message.html?id=20445204 Hi Cougar fans!First of all, welcome to Seattle. Always fun to host a classy program like BYU. We are on a roll and think we'll catch BYU at just the right time. If you need a cold "soda" be sure to ask one of us Dwags. Here is why we win this week.1. Jack "Cobra" Browning -the best white player on the field, enough said on that. With four years of high school and three years of college under his belt, he will do everything possible to win the game.2. Offensive Line. We average a weight of 332 across the line, and they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. MacGeary, Tray Adams, Center, Ossai, Harris. These boys have an attitude and are ready to rumble!!!3. Lake. A new defensive scheme and a new attitude. Everyone is speaking out about the difference between our game plan on defense vs Auburn and our game planning since then. you will see a much improved defense on 9/29.4. Speed, speed, speed. this is the fastest team Washington has had this century, maybe since 1991! John Ross XIV, Charlie McClutchins, Jake Kaho, Savell Azeem Ahmed, Myles Gaskin, Louis Rankin. The newbies will be inexperienced but we bring a new dimension that the program has not had in years, speed.5. Time of possession. I think we can win the time of possession battle in this one. the more we can control the ball and keep our defense off the field, the greater chance we’ll have to win.I think UW wins this one rather easily, say… 34-17???
