Quack 12
It was a Big XXll crew, and they were actually worse than typical Pac-12 zebras.

We will never know if Wisconsin would have scored on that drive, but they were having success moving the ball most of the day. No fault of the ducks of course. You will take a referee gaffe in your favor. I would be livid if I was a badger fan though. Fuck off.

Three of Texas' losses were to LSU, Oklahoma and Baylor, while TCU and Iowa State were not cakewalk opponents. In contrast, Utah's best win was over an 8-win USC team, with the majority of their wins coming against opponents with less than 7 wins. In short, the in-season competition for Texas was stronger than that of Utah. Give Utah the same schedule that Texas had, and they would have been 7-5 (or worse), too. Dude, you're the queen of coming in here and prancing around on the 1-in-a-million occasion when you're correct. You're either 90 years old, or 10 years old. RogueDuck
Oklahoma and Baylor aren't exactly great teams. Neither would have won any of the power 5 conferences. And the Big 12 looked like trash in the bowls, outside of Texas.

I’m going with the belief that Utah gave zero f*cks about the Alamo Bowl after Oregon manhandled them to keep them out of either the playoffs or the Rose Bowl, and also it was basically a home game for Texas. One of the easier picks of the bowl season.

glduck
In my lifetime, I’ve always considered 2001 Miami and 2004 USC the cream of the crop... but that LSU team is up there, complete with the best individual season of all time.

Quack 12
Interestingly, the captain of that B2, "Spirit," is a woman, and her co-pilot on that flight was former Oregon player Nick Reed.
